The fight card is set for the Dec. 19 "WEC 45: Cerrone vs. Ratcliff" event.

The upcoming World Extreme Cagefighting show, headlined by lightweight contenders Donald Cerrone (10-2 MMA, 3-2 WEC) andEd Ratcliff (7-1 MMA, 3-1 WEC), takes place at The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

The night's four-fight main card, which includes a co-headliner of WEC newcomer and IFL stand-out Chris Horodecki (13-1 MMA, 0-0 WEC) vs. fast-rising prospect Anthony Njokuani (11-2 MMA, 2-1 WEC), airs on Versus.

Today's official announcement and card unveiling had few surprises; most of the matchups were previously announced or reported. However, one late addition to the preliminary card is a bantamweight bout between John Hosman (13-5-1 MMA, 0-1 WEC) and WEC newcomer Chad George (10-4 MMA, 0-0 WEC).

Hosman was expected to meet David Smith (5-1 MMA, 0-0 WEC) at the event. However, WEC officials today confirmed with MMAjunkie.com that Smith was forced off the card due to an injury he suffered prior to bout agreements being signed. The Los Angeles-based George, who's riding a five-fight win streak after competing in organizations across the country, got the bout instead.
