Just got the word.. Mercito "No Mercy" Gesta will be defending his belt here in San Diego! October 22! San Diego's world title contender is back in SD!!
Find Guard Ya Grill on Facebook and see more "No Mercy" mouthguard photos in, "Oral Orthotics // Professional Mouthguards (2)" album. You can also see the accurate teeth molds before they were specially trimmed to fabricate a custom mouthguard.

Dental alginate was used to take these accurate impressions, which also captures the role border (vestibule) and third molars (wisdom teeth). And a polyvinyl material was used to record Gesta's construction bite registration. According to mouthguard expert, Mr. Ryan D. Salazar, RDAEF, "alginate impressions (teeth molds) are the most practical dental material to use when taking teeth molds (impressions) for athletes participating in full contact sports, with no head protection, like professional boxing. The clinical technique required when taking alginate impressions for patient-athletes in full contact sports is different compared to taking impressions for whitening trays, nightguards (TMJ splints), retainers, etc." |
