"Well, I do believe I got the full value out of my DentalGuardz during Monday's Krav Maga class. Unlike most classes, this one had a lot of grappling - basically wrestling. As a woman, upper body strength is never going to be my thing, so I usually avoid wrestling at all costs. Needless to say, the class was a bit of a challenge.

Either physically or cosmetically they seem subpart in comparison. My molars end up destroying the back end of the mouthguard within a couple of months and at 40 to 60 bucks it’s a hard hit. "I have had a number of mouth guards over my career as a fighter. I feel a mouth guard is the single most important piece of protective equipment someone can own, if they are participating in any type of martial arts, grappling or combat sport. In training for my first professional fight I wore a typical boil and bite mouth guard. It was a horrible experience both in training and in competition. I only wore it when I absolutely thought I had too and as a result suffered chipped teeth and sore jaws early in my career. I eventually ditched the boil and bite mouth guards for other custom fit dental mouth
guards. They were good and were not too uncomfortable, but I did not feel as though the protection they offered was adequate.
